Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for timely routing of invoices for verification of receipt and approval.

  2. Responsible for resolving vendor issues such as invoice/pricing discrepancies and disputed charges.

  3. Timely and accurate entry of invoices and bi-weekly check runs.

  4. Responsible for securing proper supporting documentation for all invoices, including PO, approvals, receipt verification, etc.

  5. Assist with expense analysis as requested.

  6.  Responsible for alerting supervisor of:

    1. Issues holding up payment on past due invoices

    2. Invoice approvals not received in a timely manner

  7.  Assist in miscellaneous monthly audits.

  8.  Assist in the preparation of other reports and schedules as required.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS     ●  High school diploma and Associates Degree preferred.     ●  2-5 Year experience in accounts payable, including invoice verification from approval to receipt, payment, and contact with vendors.     ●  Experience preferably in Accounts Payable.     ●  Working experience with Outlook Email and Word.      ●  Advanced knowledge of Excel.     ●  Working experience with Accounting programs.     ●  Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented.     ●  Good oral and written communications skills.
